Nisha Malhotra is an economist and quantitative social scientist whose work bridges health, development, gender, and public policy. Trained at the University of Maryland and formerly a tenured faculty member at the University of British Columbia, she has conducted research for international organizations including the World Bank and led quantitative analyses of national studies on maternity care, health equity, and patient experience in Canada. Her research has informed policy, clinical practice, and public discourse across health, development, and trade.
